1. Decision and peril
State the management decision and the peril or hazard in scope.
2. Event representation
Define whether the analysis uses historical events, synthetic events, return-period concepts, deterministic stresses, or another scenario set.
3. Exposure quality
Assess geocoding, insured values, construction, occupancy, policy terms, missing fields, and concentration.
4. Vulnerability
Document damage or loss assumptions and their relationship to event intensity and insured characteristics.
5. Financial terms
Specify deductibles, limits, layers, attachment points, occurrence/aggregate terms, and reinsurance as relevant.
6. Uncertainty
Present alternative assumptions, data limitations, model limitations, and ranges separately from any central estimate.
